Financial Support for Charitable Activities in and around Haltwhistle and the adjacent South Tyne area
Our donations to local designated charities are made through annual subscription or one-off payments, typically ranging between £500 and £1000
THE TRUST AND ITS PRINCIPLES
The Smith (Haltwhistle & District) Charitable Trust is a small Charitable Trust and, although the trustees can consider any application, they will give particular consideration to applications that benefit the people of Haltwhistle and the South Tyne area of Northumberland. This includes charities with a demonstrable impact on individuals in the Haltwhistle and South Tyne area. Annual support is provided to a number of local institutions who can demonstrate a continuing need, and the Trust considers requests to support one off capital projects. Applications can be made by submitting the application form here.
The Trustees do not make donations to individuals unless the payment can be made through a parent organisation operating for charitable purposes.
